I was looking at things that I could crochet to add to my camera on Ravelry, when I saw a cute teddy bear that simply slips on the lens. So I whipped up a quick one. It's written in US terminology.
Find the original pattern here. Ravelry for the designer.

Finished objects
As I haven't updated here in a while, I thought it would be a good idea to show off some of my finished objects. For the full range and more photos, see my facebook page.
Blankets
I have completed 2 large granny squares, and a summer wrap, all can be seen (just!) in the photo below, covering my legs.

Cancer awareness
I've found this group on Ravelry, 12 months of awareness which creates 6" by 6" squares to go to various charities.
It's made me think, I want to do some fundraising for charities, seeing that as of 26th Feb I will be unemployed until I find a new job, I might as well do something useful with my time.
I've found a list of charities by month, August and December seem empty though.
I may walk, dress up, bake or make things.
If anyone would like to join in please let me know.
I will try to update this when I can.

Fingerless gloves, free pattern
1 pair size 4mm knitting
needles
1 ball 100g wool
1 tapestry needle
This is the yarn I used, although it is the orange-y version http://www.sirdar.co.uk/yarns/fashion/Summer%20Stripes%20Dk Sombrero 315
Cast on 28 stitches. This was just right for my hand, I don’t consider myself to have large or small hands, around average. When adapting the size, make sure to keep to an even number of stitches. As a guide, 24 for woman, 28-32 for a man.
